Town Hall: Building the 2017 Science Action Agenda

Survey Says…Town Hall: Building the 2017 Science Action Agenda
Wednesday, November 16, 2016 (Lunch time)

Why - Because as part of the Bay-Delta community your voice matters in:

  • Identifying what science is key for making decisions
  • Setting science priorities
  • Providing a basis for the need to fund science
  • Providing insights into emerging science

Who/What - All conference participants, we’d like to invite you to grab your lunch and join in an interactive session to gather community input for the 2017 Science Action Agenda. The 2017 Science Action Agenda, called for in the Delta Science Plan, is a four-year science agenda for the Bay-Delta that, when implemented, will advance scientific knowledge needed for Bay-Delta management and policy decision-making. It builds off the scientific information highlighted in the State of Bay-Delta Science, 2016, and will serve as a communication tool for scientists and policy-makers within and outside of the system, fill knowledge gaps, and build science capacity.

Where/When - The Town Hall will be held from 12:20 PM - 1:20 PM on the second day of the conference (Wed., Nov. 16) in conference rooms 308-310.

Take the Survey! - Please take about 15 minutes to complete a survey, which will provide valuable input for the 2017 Science Action Agenda and will inform a game of Family Feud during the Town Hall, where two teams will compete to guess the most popular survey answers!
